News from the Senate and Spud:
* SG will be hosting a High School Leadership Conference, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 29th. Dean Eley has approved the schedule and agreed to pay for meals for the participants.
* Congratulations to Lisa Jones, S.G.'s new Augustine Representative.

Thursday, April 6:
• TGIT will be hosting the Movement Tour. This Tour consists of 4 bands and a DJ. Music will begin at 9:30 p.m. and go until 1 a.m. in the Rat. Pina-coladas will be available for the first two hours. Come support local Dallas bands!
Friday, April 7:
• Il Carnevale di Venezia, UD's annual Spring Formal, begins at 8:00 p.m. at La Cima Club overlooking the Wild Mustangs in Las Colinas. Tickets will be on sale all week in the Haggar Foyer at lunch and dinner.
News from SPUD:
• Congratulations to the First Annual Tower Film Festival's winners:
1st Place: "Steal, the Legend from UD", directed by John Rhodes. Starring David, Jacob, Jim, Joe, John, and Oskar.
2nd Place: "Jerome", directed by James Mackenzie
3rd Place: "Beard-off", a film by Anthony Levine.
• Thank you to all who participated and gave of their time and talent for such an exciting evening.
Senators of the Month:
• Jacob Rhodes was named Senator of the Month in February. Jacob has shown great initiative in Student Government. He recently organized a committee in conjunction with the Office of Advancement to replace the pool table in the Rat. He is currently working with the Campus Improvements Committee to install more bike racks around campus due to the growing number of cyclists. Thank you, Jacob, for your resourcefulness, hard work, and dedication to the student body.
• Bridget McEwen, Student Government's newly elected Commuter Rep, has been a dedicated representative. She has helped with SG fundraisers, Sunday Sundaes, and written staff and faculty Birthday cards. Her initiative, willingness to help, and great smile make her a valuable part of SG. Bridget is a junior physics major.
