Paul: the only conservative

There is only one candidate who understands the Federal Government cannot solve our problems: Congressman Ron Paul. It is quite obvious the big-government, nanny-state mentality espoused by Democrats not only makes the problem worse, but the standard of living for all dramatically decreases through over taxation and regulation. Yet, all "mainstream" Republican candidates running for President offer the wrong solutions. Mitt Romney, John McCain and Mike Huckabee essentially look to bigger Government to solve our country's problems. They all pay lip-service to lower taxes and less Government spending, but can you really trust them?
John McCain voted against the Bush tax Cuts in 2001 and 2003, and Mitt Romney's economic stimulus plan is bigger than the Democrats'. It is downright comical listening to Romney and McCain argue about who is better suited to "lead" our economy. Last time I checked the Constitution that is not the job of the President. The government does have a responsibility to the economy, by cutting regulations and lowering taxes. Ron Paul is the only candidate with a true conservative philosophy. He has never voted to raise taxes, and is the only candidate advocating sound monetary policy, something that is curiously ignored in the wake of our dollar being as worthless as it currently is.
Any political scientist worth his salt can attest to the fact that to win as a Republican candidate for President in a general election, you have to appeal to the conservative base. That base is interested in lower taxes and a strong national defense. Ron Paul embodies these principles. By leaving Iraq and cutting unnecessary foreign aid, we would be free to enforce our borders and fight threats to our security, not engage in the arduous task of nation-building. Furthermore, Ron Paul received a rating of 100% by the National Right-to-Life foundation, and as an OB-GYN, Ron Paul has delivered over 4,000 babies and remains staunchly pro-life, another conservative principle. He is quoted as saying "in 40 years of medical practice, I never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman."
If one wanted to vote for a candidate who advocates outrageous federal government, a U.S. military strategy seeking to maintain an empire at the cost of the taxpayers, and a monetary policy geared around the printing of money out of thin air, Ron Paul would not be that candidate. But if one preferred a true Republican, who espouses limited government, low taxes, a strong dollar and a humble foreign policy, that candidate would be Texas Congressman Ron Paul.

Support whatever candidate you want, but Ron Paul doesn't come that close to a 100% rating from National Right to Life. Check it out on their website for yourself. (Continued…)

Ron Paul takes a federalist approach to abortion: let the states decide. This was what Roe V. Wade took away. Ron Paul seeks to eliminate abortion, but wants a constitutionally-legal and workable solution. (Continued…)

The best thing that we can do besides writing excellent articles like this one is to pursue public office to take our nation back for the people.

I want my donations back! I had no idea Ron Paul would be the kind of man who would get in bed with Mike Huckabee. I would certainly expect backroom deals from Huckabee. (Continued…)
